Eggcavation

Eggcavation is a first-person destruction game built around one very big egg. Your job is to crack it open by chipping away at its shell plate by plate, filling your bucket with shards and selling them at the terminal.

Spend the cash you earn on bigger tools, including a pickaxe, sledgehammer, jackhammer, plasma drill and laser cutter, plus dynamite, drones and gear. Dig through shell, membrane and gold-veined ore to reach the glowing core, then hatch it.

Be careful how hard you hit. Striking the same spot too much makes the egg angry, and the payout climbs until it wakes up and throws you across the room.

How to play

On desktop, use WASD to move and the mouse to look. Hold the left click to hit, press Q or right-click for dynamite, and E to lift. Keys 1-7 open the shop and menus, 1-8 buys inside the shop, and Esc pauses.

On mobile, the left side of the screen moves you and dragging the right side looks around. Dedicated HIT, BOOM and LIFT buttons handle the main actions.

Progress saves automatically, and the game includes 10 strange specimens followed by endless bigger eggs, boss fights, random events such as gold rushes, power cuts, egg sneezes and eggquakes, plus hatchling pets, loot crates, trophies, daily missions, a 7-day gift and a Lucky Wheel. It offers 9 languages and plays on desktop, phone and tablet.
