TideRoll: Block Puzzle

TideRoll: Block Puzzle turns a route across floating ocean platforms into a question of orientation. Roll the wooden block toward the goal hole, then reach it standing upright. A route can bring you close to the destination while leaving the block in the wrong position, so consider the final approach as well as the next step.

Rolling Controls and Fragile Tiles

Use WASD or the arrow keys to roll the block. On a mobile device, use the on-screen direction buttons. Orange tiles require particular attention: cross them while the block is lying flat, because they break under an upright block. Before entering an orange section, compare the block's current orientation with the position you expect after the next roll.

Plan Around the Current Layout

The game includes 150 levels, with sunny, rainy and snowy scenery, switches, bridges and an undo feature. Read the arrangement you have reached instead of assuming that a bridge or switch behaves like one from a different puzzle. If a move leaves the approach less useful, undo can help you reconsider it; check the current interface for that action rather than assuming an undocumented key.

A suggested practice goal is to work backward from the goal: what position would let the next roll finish upright? Then compare that approach with any fragile tiles on the route.
